The impressive Calf Heath drew in 30 anglers for Saturdays encounter and the venue delivered yet again.  Jordan Hall is the man to beat on the venue at the moment and only a school boy error prevented yet another victory.  Inexplicably using just one net he went over by almost 10lb so his weight was dropped to the 40lb net limit.  That meant that Jordan had to settle for a section win instead of first place. Stepping in to take  advantage of the situation and secure top spot on the day was Dave Ridgeway,  drawn on peg 7 he put together a cracking mixed bag for 47lb 3oz .Pole and short range cage feeder work did the damage. Second spot with another nice mixed bag went to Kevin Tipton. Fishing short and even shorter on peg 47 Kev had a really busy day to total a pleasing 44lb 9oz .Mick Tonks completed the frame with 41lb from peg 52. Fishing mainly method feeder he managed to snare some quality Bream.
