Work Party 8.30 Sunday 22nd  – Kingswood Lake

On Sunday 22nd February, starting at 8:30am, we’ll be holding a work party at Kingswood Lake.

We need your help moving 20 tonnes of 40mm chippings to build up the pegs. (Yes… 20 tonnes. Consider it your gym session for the week 💪).

If you’re able to attend, please sign in with Dan on arrival for health and safety purposes.

If you have a wheelbarrow, shovel, or hedge trimmer, please bring it along. The more members that attend, the quicker the work will be done, many hands make light work (or at least lighter work!).

We’ll also be:

• Carrying out improvements on pegs 9–14 to create space for a bivy/brolly when the lake is in flood.

• Cutting back the hedge on the bank heading towards peg 1.

Pellets will also be available for sale on the day.
We have no 25kg bags left, but 6kg buckets are available.

It would be great to see as many of you there as possible. Even an hour or two of help makes a big difference to the club.
