A low turnout of 14 anglers took part in Saturdays Kingswood Match and with a strong southerly wind conditions looked promising for some good sport .Well  someone forgot to tell the fish as the weights were somewhat disappointing. Steve Mcqueen took top spot on the day with a mixed bag for 27lb 8oz from peg 28 on the beach.  Cage feeder fished at 40m accounted for the majority of his catch.  Also drawn on the beach (Peg 30) Nev Bailey Snr secured second place with 19lb 13oz of Bream and Skimmers all falling to the method at 40m  Gary Johnson finished 3rd with 12lb 15oz from peg 42, with most of his fish taken on the pole.
