Thirty three expectant anglers turned out at Calf Heath and once again it was the inform Bob Allatt who prevailed. Drawn on peg 55 he started off with a 14lb Carp but having got that out the way he got down to some serious silver fish business. At the end of the match it was very apparent that he had romped to victory putting a cracking 81lb 14oz on the scales. Another angler who is in good  form  is Little Dawleys Paul Bucknall, securing 2nd place with 48lb 1oz from peg 49. Gary Oliver finished third from peg 56 with a nice bag of Skimmers for 45lb 14oz. Dave “The Mechanic ” Nicholls completed the frame despite a few mis fires on hot peg 1 he stuck at it and netted a mixed bag for 35lb 13oz.
