Twenty nine anglers turned out for the 2nd round and the one no show underlines what a difference an empty peg can make in winter as 1st and 2nd  came either side of empty peg 55.Ashley Poxon continued his good run of form taking top spot on the day with an excellent 29lb 10oz. Drawn on peg 54 on the point he did the damage on the pole fished at 13m .Ash now sits joint top on 2 points .Barry Wilcox finished in second spot with a pleasing 16lb 1oz. Method feeder and cage feeder accounted for 3 decent Bream and several Skimmers. Mark Greening completed the frame with a late show from peg 78 on the tins.  Having watched a motion less tip for over 3 hrs a change  to a small cage feeder packed with pinkies did the trick as he netted both Bream and Skimmers for 13lb 2oz.
