With Kingswood flooded the decision was taken to move the match to Calf Heath. Eighteen anglers turned out and with plenty of form pegs in expectations were high. Well when your luck is in you have to make it count and that’s what Mark Griffin did.Drawing peg 80 for consecutive matches he made it back to back wins with an impressive 66lb 13oz, method feeder fished long towards the wall did the trick as he netted plenty of good Bream for the victory. In second spot also for the second week running was Nev Bailey Snr, drawing peg 56 he got off to a fast start and had a really good first half of the match before things started to really slow up. At the all out Nev managed a pleasing 39lb 9oz all taken on method feeder tactics. Pete Jones completed the frame with a creditable 37lb 11oz, drawing peg 53 it soon became apparent that the feeder wasn’t working . A switch to the pole soon started to produce and a really good last 90 minutes bolstered his weight.
