KINGSWOOD Bait Boat Trail
The committee have come to a decision to trail the use of bait boats on KINGSWOOD ONLY. This trail will run to the end of the season 31st April 2025 , which then the committee will review the use of boats on Kingswood. However there are a few rules that need to be abided by when using a bait on this water, which include:
- Bait boats are not allowed to be used on pegs 1 to 5.
- The swim map below and situated on around the lake must be adhered to.
- Bait boat is not to go no further than 80 yards. (20 wraps)
- No boats are to be used on match day.
- Bait boats are strictly to be only be used on Kingswood lake NO other lake.
- A marker float has to be used when using a bait boat.
So why this sudden trail run?
The committee feel this will help reduce the amount of lost end tackle that is gathering in Kingswood as anglers try to push their casting capabilities. Along with the house pellet, we feel it will help compliment the feeding programme as anglers are more likely to feed more using a bait boat. The committee have chosen Kingswood as a swim map is already in place.
This is a TRAIL run any one seen abusing the following rules, then a message will be sent on clubmate and the website and it will be back to the use of no bait boats. So abuse it and we will all loose it!
Please see swim map of Kingswood below which needs to be followed at all times with or without the use of a bait boat.
