Twenty four Anglers turned out for Saturdays match  and it turned out to be a tough  day for some.One angler who wasn’t complaining was Brian Ashley who dipped his hand in the bag and drew form peg 80. That being said he made no mistake has he put together a pleasing 42lb 9oz of mainly Bream to finish well clear of the rest of the field. Method feeder fished at distance did the trick for the Salop veteran. Second spot went to Dave Ridgeway with 19lb 6oz from 49, the cage feeder and pole were the tactics of choice. Pete Jones completed the frame with 16lb 1oz from peg 5, method feeder fished at 45m accounted for 4 Bream and a few skimmers.
