Twenty eight anglers turned out for Saturdays match despite the dreary conditions. Lots of  the field got off to a slow start but things improved for many in the latter stages of the match. Top spot on the day went to Jordan Hall from form peg 80. Despite plenty of interruptions from F1s he put together an unassailable 52lb 2oz. Feeder fished at distance and the pole at 14.5m were the tactics and the latter accounted for 9 good fish in the last hour of the match. Second spot went to Pete Jones with an impressive 39lb 11oz from peg 6. Pole was the method of choice for Pete as he netted both Skimmers and  quality Bream.

Bob Harris completed the frame from peg 55 on the point. Method feeder fished at 45m accounted for 7 Bream and a few skimmers for 28lb 12oz.
