Gravelly Way -Gailey Lock - BPAS Canal

Brief description of fishery:

We are pleased to announce a sixth water now under control by Blackfords Progressive Angling Socitey. This is something that Tom Ponder has sorted with the Canal and River Trust . The canal is part of the Staffs and Worcester. This is now available for our members to fish from now. This water will be perfect for a bit of drop shotting at this time of year, but does contain many species including Bream, Perch, Pike, Crucians, Chub and Carp.

Angling members please remember this is also a public tow path, so please do not block the tow path at any time. All of our club rules still apply to this water.

The canal section our members are permitted to fish is in between Bridge no- 78 Gravelly Way Bridge and Bridge no- 79 Gailey Lock Bridge on the A5 Watling Street. Please take in to consideration we only having the fishing rights in between these two bridges, the other stretches the other sides of the bridges are ran by Wolverhampton Angling Association. A small car park is available on Croft Lane. The postcode for this is ST19 5PR. For a precise location to the car park use the APP WHAT 3 WORDS and use:
