Thirty three anglers averaged an excellent 22lb per man as the reservoir pleasingly  show’s real signs of returning to form.Top rod on the day was former Starlets veteran Norman Carpenter. Drawn on peg 79 on the tins he gave a master class of cage feeder and worm fishing as he put together a cracking 60lb 12oz. Meanwhile over on the point a head to head battle ensued between Streetlys Mark Greening and Little Dawleys Paul Bucknall.  At the all out Paul just edged it on peg 55, putting together a quality bag of mainly Skimmers for 51lb 10oz. In contrast on peg 54 Marks creditable 49lb 2 oz  was largely made up of Bream. Back to the tins and Bob Allatt completed the frame from peg 77 with a  pleasing 43lb 12oz.
