On Kingswood we have created a raised platform peg, this is an easy accessible peg for less mobile anglers, it features anchor points for wheel chairs and a lip at the front to prevent anglers falling in to the water, as well as rails all around the peg. The peg is situated on the board walk and is peg number is 35. The peg itself is made from composite decking so should hopefully stand the test of time. The peg is big enough for small brolly, however if you need to secure your brolly down we ask that you DON’T screw in to the deck board but use bungy straps to the anchor points or rail. The committee would like to thank everybody who was involved in making the peg we are sure it will now become a very popular peg. The committee are in discussion to make more easy access pegs across different pools.
