Extremely high pressure greeted the 21 anglers for this Kingswood encounter and that meant that Bream were very hard to come by. However luckily Kingswood is also blessed with large shoals of Roach and for the anglers who decided to target them it largely paid off. Top spot on the day went to Barry Wilcox AKA the “The Blackfords Pellet “. Drawn on peg 24 the former compressor engineer who is no stranger to high pressure put together a stunning bag of quality Roach for 29lb 1oz. Steve Mcqueen also put together a similar catch for 25lb 8oz and second place from peg 1.Kevin Tipton completed the frame from his favourite peg 30 with another Roach bag for 22lb 15oz
