Thirty two anglers did battle at what turned out to be a somewhat patchy Calf Heath. On the day the tins proved to be the most fruitful section with anglers returning more than double the average weight than other sections.  Top spot on the day went to Bob “plastic ” Harris with a very respectable 30lb 6oz. Drawn on peg 79 plastic got off to a slow start however a few changes saw him get amongst some really decent Skimmers all falling to method feeder tactics. Second place went to Steve “Hollywood ” Mcqueen from next door on peg 78. Both feeder and pole tactics accounted for his 19lb 3oz return.  Tony Walsh made it back to back frames with another tidy display on the pole. Drawn on peg 7 he stayed patient and put together a nice mixed bag for 18lb 8oz. Completing the frame in fourth spot was Gary Oliver with 15lb 8oz from peg 65 in the bay, all taken on the method fished at 50m.
