Saturday pleasingly saw a sell out field at Kingswood for the first time in several years. Those in the know were only too aware that a low number ie pegs 1 to 5 would probably put you on fish and so it turned out. On the day Baz Jones pulled out peg 1 and soon got to work on method feeder fished at distance.  For 5hrs he did battle with peg 3 and at the all out he managed to edge it, 8 Bream and a quality hybrid  plus a few big Roach accounted for his impressive 44lb 6oz winning weight.  Mark Greening secured second spot from peg 3 and although he managed to net more Bream than Baz the stamp wasn’t quite so good but he still totalled a very creditable 41lb 6oz. John Burns completed the frame from unfancied peg 37 with a very pleasing 22lb 4oz all taken on cage feeder tactics.
