A decent turn out of 21 anglers took part in Saturdays encounter, and it was Gary Oliver who powered his way to victory. Drawn on peg 6 he opted to fished the method feeder at distance and the choice paid off as he caught both Bream and quality Skimmers  for an unassailable 40lb. On the opposite bank it was Malc Appleby who secured 2nd place with 27lb 4oz from peg 47 . Pete Jones completed the frame with a pleasing 19lb 8oz from peg 38.
