Twenty seven anglers took part in Saturdays match at Calf Heath sunny conditions and a fairly calm reservoir made for a slow start to the match. On the day Bob “plastic ” Harris took the honours from form peg 54 on the famous point. Patience was the key as he waited for a visit to the mussel bed from the resident Bream.  Six Bream and a couple of decent Skimmers obliged giving Plastic an unassailable 22lb 3oz. Gary Oliver claimed second spot with 15lb 3oz. Drawn on peg 53 Gaz fished to the buoy all day picking off plenty of Skimmers. Mark Griffin completed the frame with 12lb 5oz of Skimmers from peg 49 all of which fell to method feeder tactics.
