Thirty anglers braved the cold for round 4 and with one rotation completed it was back to an open draw.Top spot on the day went to Steve Davies from peg 55 on the famous point.Fishing two lines, one at 20m and one at 50m Steve was still biteless with more than 2 hours gone. A decision to un clip and move out to 65m paid dividends as Steve netted a couple of Bream and some quality Skimmers for 13lb 8oz for victory and the all important one point.  Arguably the performance of the day went to Kevin Tipton, disappointed at drawing un fancied peg46 ,he got his head down and the reward was instant as he netted a Skimmer in the first ten minutes. Kev went on to net 19 Skimmers for an impressive 9lb 9oz. That secured second spot and moves Kevin to top of the leader board on 6 points  Another consistent angler namely Paul Bucknall completed the frame from peg 43 with 8lb 9oz, Paul is currently the only angler on 3 section wins and but for an enforced absence due to illness who knows it could have  been a perfect 4 points? The cage feeder alternated on 2 lines did the trick for the Telford rod.
