Round 2 of the winter league saw many anglers take a steady approach and with good reason as big weights were not required to attain good point’s. Nev Bailey snr took top spot on the day, getting a decent draw peg 52, Nev fished 2 lines trying to catch anything that swims. Ground bait feeder fished in conjunction with maggots and pinkies resulted in 30 Skimmers landed for an even 18lb .Taking second spot from peg 77 was Telfords Paul Bucknall,  continuing his perfect start he’ managed to put together a mixed bag on the pole for 17lb. On the next peg 76, John O’driscoll secured 3rd place with a modest 12lb 10oz all taken on cage feeder tactics.
