Thirty two anglers took part in Saturdays encounter and its was Brian” Pork pie ” Nicholls who came out on top.Drawn on peg 52 on the point Brian did his usual mid match walk to dish out the Pork pie to the fellow anglers in his section. Returning to his peg he knew he was slightly behind so he got  his head back down and tempted a good run of Skimmers onto the hook . The result was a creditable 28lb 11oz all taken on method feeder tactics. Finishing second from the next peg 53 and  also employing method feeder tactics was Barry Wilcox with 26lb 5oz. Kevin Tipton secured 3rd spot with 25lb 6oz from peg 76. Apparently cage feeder fished in conjunction with plenty of moaning did the trick lol .Dennis Kneller completed the frame with 23lb 9oz from peg 55 which in turn enabled Jim Gear to secure the section by triple default.
