Saturdays encounter saw Bob Allatt gain his first Blackfords victory with a cracking 71lb 13 oz from hot peg 80. Electing to fish the method feeder at 25m the wyrley wonder got off to a flying start catching consistently for the first 4 hours.  Things slowed up in the final hour but the damage was done for Bob. Pete Jones took second spot from peg 56 on the famous point, again Method feeder did the trick as he netted a pleasing 60lb 6oz. Gary Oliver just missed out on second spot netting a creditable 60lb 5oz from peg 52 and you’ve guessed it method feeder sealed 3rd place for Gaz
