Another sell out at Calf Heath and pleasingly the fishing is still consistently good in all areas of the reservoir. Feeder veteran Kevin Tipton took the honours on the day with a lovely mixed bag including plenty of Perch.Drawn on peg 56 on the famous point, Kev alternated between 3 lines to keep the bites coming and the result was a pleasing 49lb 7oz. Steve “Hollywood ” Mcqueen secured second place from peg 49 and unusually for hiim he opted for the method feeder The decision paid off as he put together a very creditable 47lb 10oz .Third place went to serial framer Jordan Hall, expectation from many of the field at the draw was for a comfortable match win for Jordan as he had drawn form peg 5. However as we know fish have fins and move about as he found out ,having to work to put together his 38lb 4oz net of fish .Brian “pork pie ” Nicholls completed the frame from peg 48, switching between pole and feeder he managed to bring 37lb 11oz to the scales.
