Kingswood Work Party

First of all Blackfords Committee would like to thank all the members that gave up their Sunday morning to attend this work party. A total of 46 members attended making light work of the 40 ton of stone that needed to be moved by hand to help prevent further bank erosion from pegs 19 to 1. Completed within just over three hours, this would have been a big job without the help of the members. Something the committee would simply not have been able to complete by their selves. Gone of the days where we would struggle to get a handful of members to complete any work. This shows that we all have the same interests to improve our fishing lakes which will only help the club grow from strength to strength and make your time on the blank more enjoyable and more accessible. We should all take pride in the work that’s taken place in the last few years around the lakes. These lakes are the members just as much as they are the committee’s, we are just the people in the background dealing with the legal and administrative side of things, without the members the club simply wouldn’t run.

The morning its self was a great laugh and I think that all involved enjoyed their selves. Tom  kindly gave some of the house pellet to all members involved as a little thankyou. Tom will be selling the house pellet from the Kingswood container as soon as the weather picks up, with more on order. We are really hoping to establish this pellet across all the pools to help with fish growth and hopefully improving your catch rates!

Once again a massive thankyou to all involved!
