A fairly low turnout of 16 anglers did battle on Kingswood lake and at the all out only 2 ounces separated the top two . Triumphing on the day was match secretary Bob Harris with 37lb 3oz from peg 47 . Opting for the hybrid feeder fished at 45m he landed both Bream and quality Skimmers to edge out Ashley Poxon. Drawn on peg 1 a peg that he recently won off, Ash knew what to do as he started off on the cage feeder fished towards the buoys. However missing the net with his first fish and several encounters with pike cost him dear as weighed in 37lb 1oz. Steve Mcqueen completed the frame with 22lb 2oz from peg 39 utilising both the cage feeder and pole.
