Twenty one Anglers turned out for Saturdays Kingswood encounter and it was Certainly a tale of two banks as the Car park bank produced more than three times the combined weight than was caught in the rushes.

Taking a leading role on the day was Steve “Hollywood” McQueen and he certainly didn’t fluff his lines on his way to top spot. Alternating between pole and cage feed Steve put together an impressive bag of silvers for 25lb 6oz from peg1

In second spot from peg 14 was Kevin Tipton with a stunning bag of predominantly Perch. Fishing up and down through the layers at 18m  the Sensas Rod  kept really busy to bag a very commendable 23lb 6oz.

Completing the frame from peg 12 was match Secretary Bob Harris who boosted his catch with a late run of fish taken on the method with pellet, the result  was  a pleasing 19lb 3oz.
